For your enjoyment there is also a large community pool and clubhouse. A short walk south on the beach, you will find one of the protected turtle hatcheries run by the Costa Rican government. The volunteers there are very friendly and knowledgeable and if your timing is good, you might have the opportunity to watch the turtle hatchlings make their first march to the sea!

Though it might see strange, When you are ready to leave the beach and venture out for some nightlife and fantastic restaurants, the beach town of Jaco is only a 10-minute drive away. In Jaco you can spend countless hours shopping for local treasures, trying your luck at the four casinos or perhaps relax in an outdoor café and watch the world go by!
